The Avaya IP Office R11 Basic Edition Upgrade PLDS License is a paid upgrade PLDS code applicable to Basic Edition systems starting in PLDS that is used for pre-R11 PLDS upgrade path codes and required to perform a PLDS upgrade job. If you want to upgrade your existing systems to the latest release, upgrade licenses are required. Customers can only upgrade to the latest equivalent of their existing Edition. For example, upgrading from a previous release of Basic Edition to the latest version of Essential Edition is not a valid upgrade path.
